【Students for Fall Graduation in 2024】After graduation or completion of the program, the university-wide network system will no longer be available (applicable services: Gmail, Google Workspace, Box, etc.)

Students who will graduate or complete their studies in September 2024 will not be able to use all services provided by the university-wide network system after graduation or completion of their studies.
Please check the details below and take necessary measures such as making backups before graduation or completion of your studies.
1. Services expiration date
September 30, 2024
*Services will be unavailable after October 1, 2024.
2. Services that will no longer be available
Gmail
Google Workspace
VPN service
Wireless LAN service
Proxy server service
Webex
Zoom
Box
All other services that require login with User ID (Integrated Authentication ID)
3. Backups, etc.
Please be sure to back up all important emails, contacts, documents, files, etc. on your own before graduation or completion.
※If you are using Google Drive or Box to share documents and files in seminars, documents and files owned by graduating students will be deleted.
If you need to change the owner, please make sure to do so before graduation or completion. In addition, please provide your own backups as well.
※Regarding Box, even after the owner's account is deleted, the shared links and collaboration settings will continue to be retained for a certain period of time.
Within that period, the shared users will still have access to the content. If you are concerned, please deactivate the sharing settings before graduation.
Alumni files that were shared on Google Drive have disappeared.(Only available in Japanese)

4. For those who will enter the graduate school of Hosei University
For those who will enter the graduate school of Hosei University in September 2024, your User ID (Integrated Authentication ID) will be changed, but you will be able to login to Gmail and Google Workspace that you have been using since September 2024.
After you receive your new User ID (Integrated Authentication ID), your email and other data will be transferred, so there is no need to transfer them yourself.
＜For those who will enter the graduate school of Hosei University in April 2025＞
For those who will enter the graduate school of Hosei University in April 2025, your User ID (Integrated Authentication ID) will be changed, but you will be able to login to Gmail and Google Workspace that you have been using after April 2025.
After the new User ID (Integrated Authentication ID) is given to you at the beginning of the new academic year, your email and other data will be transferred, so you do not need to transfer them by yourself.
※After October 1, 2024, you will not be able to use the university-wide network system until you receive your new User ID (Integrated Authentication ID) in April 2025.
